A Great Weekend

We have had such a great weekend. It started Friday night when we went and watched the fireworks they did after the Bees game. Brockston was a little unsure of them because they were so loud but he was not upset at all. We came home and enjoyed our first Snowie of the year. I'd forgotten how much I love them. Good thing we made the best investment ever and have our own Snowie machine!

Saturday we worked around the yard and in our garden spot. We got our peas planted (hopefully not too late!) and planted some raspberries as well. I'm excited and hope that they will produce. Then we took a evening trip up to the Morley Family cabin in Midway. It was such a nice day, a little cool, but nice nonetheless. Brockston got to take his first four wheeler ride. Once again he was a little unsure but in the end I think he enjoyed it. We had a yummy steak dinner with Nate's parents and then headed down to Dairy Keen for shakes. Brockston loved the trains they have going around the restaurant and loved playing with the train table.

It was such a nice relaxing weekend with such great weather!

Love, Love, Love Spring!

Spring has always been my favorite time of year. I love when the weather starts to get warm and the flowers start to appear. I'm so excited to have these pretty flowers in my yard this year. Definitely worth the wait!

Does anyone know what time it is?

Brockston does! He has a new little watch to wear. Grandpa Wayne sized down an old watch for him. He loves it and pretty much leaves it on all day. He loves pointing to it and clicking his tongue. He loves clocks and will point them out where ever we go. He especially loves going to my parents house because they have like 20 clocks in their front room. OK not that many but I'm only slightly exaggerating!

Snow?

On Tuesday, April 6, we woke up to about ten inches of snow. Just a couple of days earlier we were swinging at Grandma's house outside. My poor daffodils are never going to get to bloom! Spring weather in Utah is sure unpredictable. But it was almost perfect because Brockston could go out and play and not freeze to death. He had a lot of fun splashing in puddles and having a ball. We even pulled out Nate's old snow suit for him to wear. Classic.

Happy Easter!

We hope you all had an awesome Easter Weekend! We sure did! Lots of family time, good food, great General Conference, and an Easter Egg Hunt. All in all a great weekend. Here's a few pictures of the egg hunt. Brockston did very well and caught on fast to how it worked. He had a blast looking for all the eggs.

A day at the Park

Last week we took advantage of some warmer weather to spend some time at the park. Brockston loved climbing on the playground and watching the ducks. He even made friends with a duck. The duck followed us every where we went. I finally realized that he liked Brockston so much because he was wearing his squeaky shoes. He has some cute little shoes that squeak every time he walks and the duck liked them. It was a fun day - especially because we got to hang out with Dad too!

This is his sad little face when we told him it was time to go home. But we promised to go back soon!
